Howdy Joyriders!
Hey Joyriders! I’m super psyched to connect with bicycle tourist and certified beer judge Beth Pickhard from Brew City Biker. On this episode we talk about some of her favorite breweries and rides, the tour of SE Asia she’s currently on (find out where she is here), and what else is on her Bike-it list!
But first.. UPDATES:
Check out the new BIKE LOVE CALENDAR where you will find bikey events in Portland and beyond! I made this as a one-stop shop so that I could avoid needing to look at Facebook for event details or information.
Here’s what’s new on the calendar:
Ovarian Psycos at Hollywood Theater
January 28, 2018 @ 7pm
Tickets to benefit the Community Cycling Center
Here’s another fantastic clip in this OPB article.
Cycle Oregon Kickoff Party at Portland Art Museum
January 31, 2018 @ 6pm
Doors are at 6pm and route announcements begin at 7pm. The first 500 guests to arrive receive early registration for the Classic. Video live stream of the announcements will be available online beginning at 7pm PST at www.cycleoregon.com.
Liv Portland Winter Warm Up Ride at Breadwinner Cycles
February 3, 2018 @ 10am
Join 2018 Liv Portland Ambassador Sonia A. Ruiz for a Winter Warm Up Ride—and service project! We’ll meet up at Breadwinner Cycles’ N Williams cafe at 10 am, do a group ride to Gladys Bikes on NE Alberta, then assemble Period Packs for Period. Inc. Join us for Liv bike fun and camaraderie, and help erase the stigma around periods and provide menstrual products to those in need.

Friends, you know I believe in the transformative power of the bike, in our personal lives, our communities, and the world at large. I would be super grateful if you’d leave a rating or review in iTunes, Stitcher, or via whatever method you listen. It helps more gals find the show, and I believe the more stories we share, the more women who ride, we make this world – both our internal and external worlds – better with every revolution.
Also, I read 5-star reviews out on the show because I love you.
Ratings and reviews help with that, but nothing is better than a personal referral, it’d be rad if you would share the show with even just one woman who you think might dig it.
Never forget, “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.”
Keep moving forward and until next time I hope you enjoy the ride.
Forever Forward!
